Meditative but without melancholy. It is obvious that Jansson is more aggressive on I AM THAT compared to the somewhat singing HOPE. It gives energy that is completed by a superb rhythm section which gives that titillating closeness. - Knut Johansson, HD

This is jazz trio on a high level. Lars Jansson may be rather unknown outside jazz circles, but he has belonged to the elite for more than twenty years, and he is an authority. He knows his jazz and this is an album where the music swings intensely.
