He is one of Scandinavia’s leading jazz artists: a tremendous pianist, leader of a superb trio with Lars Danielsson and Anders Kjellberg and a profilic composer. It can be a surprise to no one that he now fronts the seventh edition of Nordic Meeting – an annual recording project at the Swedish Radio in Göteborg, where carefully selected musicians join forces to record new music. The idea is to challange a major Swedish jazz musician to compose for an international ensemble with a Scandinavian profile.
