The repertoire of this CD is based mostly on some of Erik's earlier compositions, such as: A Little Tune, which is inspired by folk music and was written in the 50s. Hang In, a tune from the same era when he was a member of the Gunnar Johnson Quintet. Three For You, was originally composed for the Sävedalen Big Band. Edshult a reflection, written in the 90s. Blues For Al, Yasuhito's tribute to drummer Al Harewood. Erudition, an early Bob Brookmeyer composition. Line For Lions, a well-known theme from the Gerry Mulligan-Chet Baker Quartet of the 50s. Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me and Mean To Me, to standards from the pens of Duke Ellington and Fred Ahlert respectively. Software, Twogether, Four Together, One More, Two More, are all improvisations in duo, trio and quartet combinations.

"Really good melodious jazz. The solo performances are elegant, positive as well as full of ideas. Soft but full of activity by all four."
